I had headshots done recently with Gracie Ortiz Photography, and they turned out so good. She is amazing! You'd never know we did the shoot in my neighborhood, in front of some greenery. These are just some of my favorites, but I have a whole gallery of more.

It's not easy, the older we get, to like what we see in the mirror or in photos. But the more I let go of trying to look like I did then and embrace who I am now, the more peace I find. There’s a certain kind of beauty that only comes with time and living—and I’m learning to celebrate it. Plus, I want my whole life to be a testimony to God's faithfulness, which includes my body and soul. These photos remind me that His light still shines through us—wrinkles, laugh lines, and all.

Some of my favorite scriptures about God's faithfulness throughout our whole lives!

2 Corinthians 4:16 - 18 (ESV)

So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

Psalm 91: 14-16 (NIV)

“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”

Isaiah 46:4 (NIV)

Even to your old age and gray hairs

I am he, I am he who will sustain you.

I have made you and I will carry you;

I will sustain you and I will rescue you.

Philippians 1:6b (ESV)

He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
